Pair of Oak Bedside Cabinets with Carved Panels.
A handsome pair of 1930s bedside cabinets in oak, full of quiet character and robust charm. Each piece features a deep, warm grain and a square, architectural form softened by a touch of ornament — the cupboard doors are inset with hand-carved panels in a stylised foliate motif, adding a touch of Gothic revivalism to the otherwise rectilinear frame.
Above the cupboard sits an open shelf, perfect for keeping books or essentials close to hand, while the black painted feet provide a subtle contrast and a grounding detail. Solidly built and full of period integrity, these nightstands would feel equally at home in a rustic cottage or a more curated, modern setting that celebrates the beauty of craftsmanship.
