Set of Six 1970s Scandinavian Pine Dining Chairs

A set of four Scandinavian pine dining chairs dating from the 1970s, combining simple construction with the warm organic character associated with Nordic modern design.

Crafted in solid pine, the chairs feature gently shaped crest rails and broad upright supports, their softened edges and visible grain lending the set a relaxed, almost folk-modern aesthetic.

The frames display a rich honey-toned patina with expressive knots and figuring throughout, contrasted by newly upholstered seats in a pale boucle fabric that brightens the overall composition while complementing the warmth of the timber.

The restrained construction and sturdy proportions reflect the practical elegance typical of Scandinavian furniture of the period.

Compact and versatile in scale, the chairs work particularly well within rustic modern, chalet, or mid-century interiors, where the natural materiality and understated sculptural forms can be fully appreciated.

A charming and highly usable set of Nordic dining chairs with excellent texture, warmth, and character.
