Set of Nine Pine Dining Chairs by Wasa Möbel

A set of solid pine dining chairs by Wasa Möbel, Germany, dating from the Late 20th century. The set comprises eight side chairs and one matching armchair, all executed in warmly toned pine with visible grain, knots, and natural variation that emphasise the honesty of the material.

Each chair features a gently arched backrest with a central circular cut-out detail, a distinctive design element associated with North European rustic and brutalist-leaning furniture of the period. The backs are constructed with vertical slats, while the broad, flat seats and substantial legs give the chairs a grounded, architectural presence. The armchair mirrors the same design language, with solid, slightly curved arms integrated into the structure.

The overall aesthetic balances functional robustness with sculptural simplicity.

The chairs show the expected wear consistent with age and use, adding to their character without detracting from their strong visual impact.

Armchair measures 94h x 68w x 64d cm.
