Brutalist wall sculpture by Giovanni Schoeman
A striking Brutalist wall plaque by South African artist and sculptor Giovanni Schoeman, known for his richly textured bronze work and bold abstract forms. This large-scale piece is composed of a dense matrix of cast panels, each uniquely patterned with hieroglyphic-like motifs and abstract reliefs. The varied patination—ranging from earthy ochres to burnished bronze and oxidized tones—adds depth and complexity, enhancing its sculptural presence. A powerful decorative artwork that reads like a totemic narrative or archaeological frieze, this piece is both architectural and expressive, ideal for making a dramatic statement in a contemporary interior.
